Well, I can't seem to make it work. I don't understand which node to delete (because my native language isn't English).

Ok, Look at the screenshot number 9. That's the front leg.
After changing it to Path, there should be 4 nodes at the top of it. 1 node per corner.
Outer left, Inner left/ inner right, outer right. Delete the outer ones.

Just look at the screenshots. They showing exactly what to do.
